Source Says Barber Planning Tell All Book

Now that he is no longer wearing blue, former Giants running back Tiki Barber is reportedly planning a “tell all” book on his former team in New York. Gossip star Cindy Adams is reporting that Barber, who retired following the 2006 season, is planning a book that will tell “what is really going on behind the scenes in those steamy, sweaty locker rooms.”

Barber was not exactly silent for the last few years of his career, and even last season came out on a number of occasions to speak out against aspects of the team, including play calling. The biggest dispute last year seemed to be after the team was spanked on a Monday night in Jacksonville, and Barber slammed the play calling, saying the team didn’t even try to run the ball enough.

It was also stated in a feature article last season how much Barber was looking forward to walking away from the game, and that despite being the feature back in New York for the Giants, he was ready to move on to the second phase of his career – which is in broadcasting. No word on when this “tell all” will come out, but if it does, I am sure it will not sit well with the boys in the Giants locker room or front office.
