Mix Likely to Play for Burress at WR

The Giants look as if they are prepared for not having WR Plaxico Burress Sunday as they take on the Redskins in DC.  Burress has been limited in practice and is listed as questionable with an ankle injury.  To take his place on the field, it looks as if Anthony Mix will get a lot of playing time.  Mix has been working this week in Burress’ spot on the field.  When asked if he’d be able to play, Burress said, “I’m not talking about myself.” As far as the teams other injury situations, CB Aaron Ross is stating he does not know if he’s starting, but said all the cornerbacks have worked with the first team this week.
