G-Men Enjoying Time Overseas
Posted by Matt Loede on October 26th, 2007 filed in NewsThe Giants are looking forward to their time in London. The team will take on the Miami Dolphins in the NFL’s first-ever regular-season game outside of North America. The “G-Men” hope to be good representatives of the sport during their stay in England. Defensive end Michael Strahan said Londoners are sports fans and pointed out that soccer icon David Beckham is now playing in the U.S. Wide out Plaxico Burress called it an honor to be part of this groundbreaking game, while running back Brandon Jacobs said he was excited to play in a storied venue like Wembley Stadium. Linebacker Antonio Pierce, however, said he wanted to go see the palace guards. Then he joked he may stay away from them if they had big guns. The historic contest will take place at 1:00 p.m. Eastern on Sunday.
