Eli Manning finished the day 28-of-39 for 283 yards and a touchdown as the Giants escaped Detroit with a 16-10 win over the Lions in an NFC showdown at Ford Field.  Michael Strahan had three sacks for Big Blue, which upped its record to 7-and-3.  Brandon Jacobs rushed for 54 yards and had four catches for 49 yards with a touchdown before leaving the game due to a hamstring injury.  The win did come at a cost, however, as defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka broke his left leg on the second play of the game.  Detroit’s Jon Kitna threw for 377 yards with a touchdown, but was also intercepted three times, including two costly picks late in the fourth quarter.  Calvin Johnson had a 35-yard TD grab for Detroit, which dropped to 6-and-4 with its second straight loss.  The Lions will host the 9-and-1 Packers on Thanksgiving Day.
