The Giants put rookie safety Craig Dahl on IR today after he tore his ACL covering a kickoff in the teams 38-35 loss to the Pats on Saturday night at the Meadowlands.  Dahl had played in nine games this season, he had 18 tackles on defense and five on special teams.  The team signed defensive back Geoffrey Pope from their practice squad.
