Giants Biggest Super Bowl Dogs Since Pats in 2001

Like it not, deserved or not, the Giants are the biggest Super Bowl underdog since the Rams took on the Pats in the 2001 season. Of course we all know what happened that day in the SuperDome, as the 14-point underdog Pats beat the Rams on a last-play field goal 20-17. It was the game that began the reign of terror that has the Pats entering Super Bowl 42 vs the Giants next weekend at 18-0 overall. The Giants remain in most sports books as 13 1/2 point underdogs. In some books they are as high as 14-point underdogs, and in some as low as 12-point underdogs. Bottom line, they will enter the game as double-digit underdogs.
