Big Blue Plans a Victory Parade for Tuesday in NYC
Posted by Matt Loede on February 1st, 2008 filed in NewsEven being the underdog has not stopped the Giants from planning a victory parade on Tuesday in NYC. The Daily News is reporting today that the city is planning on having a big party on Tuesday, the day of New York’s and 23 other states’ presidential primaries and caucuses, which could be a major disaster. The parade would kick off at 11am, and be along a stretch along Broadway from the Customs House to City Hall. Right now they are set up for about 5,000 people and speakers would take the stage about 1pm. “We hope that we don’t jinx the Giants, but we have to do some planning for a parade,” Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly told reporters Thursday.
