Ticker Tape Parade Ends With Celebratory Ceremony At City Hall

Mayor Bloomberg, Governor Spitzer and other elected officials joined quarterback Eli Manning, coach Tom Coughlin, and the entire team on a stage before thousands of fans in front of City Hall.
Each of the Giants team members were presented with keys to the City. The players were led in by the Giants’ co-owners, the Mara and Tisch family, onto a large decorated stage set up at City Hall Plaza. Thousands of New York Giants fans gathered today for the parade through the Canyon of Heroes this morning. Fans blew off school and work to celebrate the Giants shocking Super Bowl win over the once undefeated Patriots with the team. Some 50-tons of confetti poured down from the surrounding skyscrapers.
