While he struggled early in the year, in the end, Lawrence Tynes came through when he had to, and becuase of it he has landed a new five-year deal that will keep him with the Super Bowl Champs. The Newark Star-Ledger is reporting that the Giants and Tynes have agreed to a new a five-year, $7 million contract. The biggest kick of Tynes’ career came in Green Bay, when he nailed a 47-yard field goal to win the NFC Title on the frozen tundra in Green Bay. Tynes connected on 23-of-27 of his field goals in 2007.
