In the NFC East we go up against TO, who's a top WR, also, the Eagles are shittier (they're shit anyways) without a top WR and will no doubt soon get one. By having a young, incredible, pro bowl corner, we can relieve pressure and keep on winning. The Giants should ahve already offered Shockey and a mid-late round draft pick for him. It was a blessing in disguise when Crumpler was released by Atlanta, we should of had Hall the next day. If any trade did go down for Hall, we need to lock him up 6-8 years for $50million. If we don't get him, we'll have to draft one. The issue is that there are some key needs the we have although are defense is still very very strong - mainly DB and OLB. Having first round picks in the NFL draft is very important. The Patriots have attempted getting two in teh passed couple years, and the Cowboys have Two this year. The Giants need to trade up for a top 15 pick to draft a solid corner. Reese focus's on depth on a football team which is extremely important and I appreciate that about him. With Boss playing well and blending even better with Eli, he needs to ditch Shockey or shockey and a late rounder for an earley first rounder. This will not only dump cap room but will also give us good opportunity to draft a top DB, and with the 31st pick (our pick) draft a LB. We can pick up a TE later in the draft after we have taken care of another the abovementioned DB, LB, maybe then DE, WR, and then a 3rd string TE. I was always a fan of shockey until they showed broken down film of him screwing up game after game after game. Also, rumours of him messing with Eli emerged throughout the season. I think we shoudl stick with what workd, Kevin Boss, and let shockeys value go elsewhere. It would be even more advantageous to draft a top cornerback because they are cheaper, and Spagnuolo is an outstanding defensive Co-ordinator and will shape him nicely.
