The injury bug has hit the Giants, as rookie LB Jonathan Goff will be out indefinitely with a back injury. Tom Coughlin said that the teams fifth-round pick broke part of a vertebra in his lower back in the second quarter of the preseason opener against the Lions on Thursday night. Right now the team has yet to decide if they are going to put Goff on IR, or see if he can make it back and play at some point in the season. If he’s put on IR, he cannot even practice with the team.
