Giants-Eagles 1st Half Thoughts

10-8 Eagles. It seems like the Giants could’ve scored more. Until that final drive, the Giants Defense was on fire. The Eagles could not move at all. You would think that they can keep it up. The Eagles defense looks strong as well. As for the Giants offense, Eli is struggling. They are abandoning the run for some reason, even though Jacobs is playing well. Manning started to play better on that last drive before the field goal. I think that the GIants have to keep defensive pressure up. The Giants have to stop the Eagles on the first drive to start the second half. Westbrook has been kept in check.

The Giants have to keep running. Keep Jacobs running. Then spring ‘Fire’ on them. Keep throwing underneath routes to Boss. And the Giants HAVE to exploit Sheldon Brown–the receivers have been beating him all day. Throw at him more, because Asante Samuel seems to make the biggest plays in the post-season. Terrell Thomas has been having a terrific game.

If I’m Tom Coughlin, I keep pounding it, as I said above. Keep running, keep the defensive pressure. In other words, keep playing Giants football.

Enjoy the second half.
