Dolphins Hire DeGuglielmo

From NY Daily News:

In fact, they’ve already lost one coach — assistant offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo, who has accepted a job as the new offensive line coach of the Miami Dolphins, according to two people familiar with the situation.

The Dolphins are expected to officially announce his hire tomorrow.

Meanwhile, don’t forget, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo is in Los Angeles today interviewing with the St. Louis Rams, and offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride is in Oakland interviewing with the Raiders.

DeGuglielmo, by the way, has been with the Giants for all five years of Tom Coughlin’s tenure. Aside from the chance for a promotion, the appeal of Miami was also that he has a history with their head coach, Tony Sparano. The two worked together at Boston University back in the early ’90s.
