Gilbride Finalist for Raiders Head Coaching Job
Posted by Jeremy Fuchs on January 17th, 2009 in Rumors

From NJ.com:
The Giants lost one coordinator Saturday and might be on the verge of losing another.
Kevin Gilbride, the team’s offensive coordinator since late in the 2006 season, impressed the Raiders during the interview process last week, according to someone informed of the progress of Oakland’s search for a head coach.
The person, who requested anonymity because the Raiders haven’t commented publicly on their interviews, said Gilbride could be named coach soon. According to several reports, interim coach Tom Cable had a good chance of retaining the job.
