Giants Not Interested in Torry Holt

Torry Holt has been a free agent for one day, and already the Giants, Jets, Vikings and Panthers are out of the running for Holt, according to multiple media outlets. Even though Holt is the anti T.O. (attitude and hands) it looks like his age or contract demands will be quickly eliminating options for his 2009 employment. According to everything I have been reading it is looking like the Giants will be addressing the wide receiver position in the draft and not free agency.

I guess one never knows and that’s what I love about the NFL. Maybe Reese and Co. are happy with the current crop of WR’s or maybe he knows something about the New York legal system that we don’t but either way it is starting to get interesting and I can’t wait until draft day!!!!!!!

  1. Jason C. says:

We NEED a veteran presence at the WR position with or without Burress…
If Holt is too expensive for their liking (I’m assuming Harrison is as well), then I’ll settle for Galloway, but the bottom line is we need someone who’s been around the league to keep these young kids motivated, especially being that we don’t have anyone out there who has any kind of “fire” inside of him, at WR or TE…
