No way do you give up two picks and a player for one player, those are the kind of trades that can put your organization behind for years...
I'd give up the 2 and 5, and maybe, if they wanted a receiver, a 2 OR 3 and Manningham, and NOTHING more...
Edwards is NOT a top receiver, he's a legit number one on a decent team, but on a championship caliber team, he's barely a top guy, pairing him up with Plax though could be interesting, but I'd rather go with Holt personally...
Honestly, Edwards is about as good as Hixon, they can both stretch the field, and neither can hold onto a ball...

Is JR crazy? Edwards is a true number one receiver. Plax is 32 years old and we need a replacement this year or very soon. We have Plax and a bunch of number 3 receivers. Give the Browns our second and Fifth round picks and any receiver on our roster for Edwards. Give them both second round picks. We need a number one and if we draft a receiver it will take a couple of years to mature into a one. Pull the trigger Jerry!
