Is Edwards Expected To Land With the Giants? (No)

Now according to more sources Barylon Edwars WILL NOT land with the Giants Unless A) The Cleveland Browns asking price goes down.

And B) Braylon Edwards quits asking for 10 million dollars a year for his salary.

from profootballtalk.com

According to our sources, a trade of Edwards to the Giants won’t happen unless and until the Browns drop their asking price, and Edwards cuts his contractual expectations.

And then Matt Mosley from ESPN.com in a chat today was asked a question?

What are the chances the Giants decide to go into the season without trading or signing a veteran receiver?

Matt Mosley: I’d say pretty good.

So I’m not sure exactly what is going to happen, but I’m just excited for the draft to see IF anything is going  to happen and what.

I’m personally a little anxious with this back and forth, back and forth business.

But I wonder if the Giants actually Do Like Dominque Hixon, I mean he did lead the team in yards after all despite being a part time starter for much of the season-I don’t think he’s a true number one WR, but I think with a number 1 and Smith, Hixon, and Manningham the Giants receiving corps could be very good.

I think the most frustrating thing above all else is that the Giants are very deep everywhere else so it seems like a huge glaring hole.

Only time will tell.

Have patience, everyone. Jerry Reese is patient and won’t rush into any judgement (look how long it took for them to cut Plaxico-or trade Shockey-after the draft remember).

Patience IS a virtue, even if we here at giantsgab don’t have any-thankfully Reese does have patience.

Post about Mel Kiper’s recent lack of respect for the Giants drafting abilities.

Have a nice day, everyone.
