Do’s
– Add a veteran receiver (10 rookies will not make this team, trade some picks and get a proven NFL caliber receiver.)
– Add depth to the offensive line and secondary. (It’s good to keep Eli off his back and receivers out of the end zone.)
– Draft a running back to add to the already talented backfield. (You never know when Jacobs is going down and Ware and Bradshaw are still unproven.)
– Find another middle linebacker. (We have Goff but I would like to see another body added to the mix. I am sick of watching Pierce try to catch Westbrook.)
– Get a return man. (If Hixon is playing receiver we need a return man.)
Don’ts
– Don’t draft the best available player if he is a pass rushing defensive end. (I know Reese loves pass rushers but I think we have enough. Draft a little more for need then best available early in the draft.)
– Draft a kicker. (Feagles is awesome and look at John Carney last year.)
– Take a chance on a player with off field concerns. (This team is poised for another Super Bowl run I don’t want any more distractions.)
I can’t wait until next Saturday; it’s going to be an interesting weekend. Hopefully a trade happens before Saturday. I will be posting the draft picks as they happen for all of you who can’t watch the draft live.
