Rhett Bomar- Instant Analysis

I think we were all surprised that the Giants selected Rhett Bomar. I had thought the Giants would take a QB, but not until the 6th or 7th round. Started at Oklahoma, but was dismissed after it was revealed that he accepted money for a job he never worked at. Transfered to Sam Houston St. and put up good numbers at a lower level of competition. Bomar has a big arm. He’s big–6-2, 225. He’s mobile. He does have character concerns. Interesting pick for the Giants. This probably means that Andre’ Woodson is gone. Bomar is a developmental QB. Perfect scout team fodder.
