You want a keepsake from Giants Stadium? If you’ve got about 500 bucks you can get a pair of seats.
That’s right. For $499 the Giants are selling seats, in pairs, from the stadium that was opened in 1976 and will close following the 2009 season. Fans can purchase original seats, which date back to the stadium’s initial construction, as well as recently-installed seats.
All seats are priced at $499 per pair and subject to availability. Seat orders will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are sold out. Seats can be purchased from now until the end of the 2009 regular season by visiting either newyorkjets.com or NYGiants.com. Seats will be shipped 6-8 weeks following the end of the 2009 season.
How sweet is that! I am ordering me up a pair.
