Matt Mosley Chat Transcript:

Matt Mosley of ESPN.COM chatted today.  Here are all the Giant related questions. What’s shaking, Matt? I’m concerned that the much-lauded Giants D-line depth is already falling apart. What are the chances that everyone (aside from poor Jay Alford) gets healthy by Week 2 or 3? Also – I can’t believe I’m asking this, but [...]

Nicks Finally Wakes Up:

From NYPOST.COM  The Giants have been waiting for rookie first-round pick Hakeem Nicks to have a day like he did this afternoon. “It’s the right time to have that happen,” Tom Coughlin said. Not a moment too soon for the Giants. Nicks has been solid but not close to spectacular in his first NFL training [...]

DeOssie To Short Snap:

From The Star Ledger: Asked what the difference between snapping for field goals and punts is, Zak DeOssie cracked, “About eight yards.” Translation: DeOssie, who has served as the team’s long snapper for two seasons, doesn’t foresee any hitch in taking over short snapping duties in the wake of Jay Alford’s knee injury. Alford, who [...]

Coughlin Slams Giants After Lackluster Outing vs Bears

From the NY Daily News: After watching the Chicago Bears rip through that defense with ease Saturday night, Tom Coughlin has had enough of the hype. Saying that “you have to earn everything that is said about you,” Coughlin chastised the media for over-hyping his team and fired warning shots toward his healthy and injured [...]

Highlight of last night

Last nights game was awful, but their was one moment of the game that stuck out to me and I just wanted to point it out. That moment was when Brandon Jacobs plowed over one of the NFL’s elite Linebackers; Brian Urlacher. It was just a simply awesome moment seeing Urlacher hit the ground.
