Albert Haynesworth now sitting out

Haynesworth got plowed into by Brandon Jacobs on the 2 yard line, the bad news for the Giants is that they did not pick up a critical 4th and 1 on the Redskins goal line. The good news is Jacobs single handedly put big Al out of comission with a stuff up the gut.

The Giants did not come away with any points on that series, but I would not be surpised if the Redskins 100-million investment is sitting on the bench with a couple of cracked ribs.

Hah, face the facts–in a fairly poor, yet predictable, game by both sides, the one interesting outcome was the conflict between Haynesworth and Jacobs–and Big Al came out on top. Three stops on one-yard runs up the gut suggest that Jacobs gets NOWHERE when running at Haynesworth. And his ribs are just fine, thanks.
