I think the injuries have a lot to do with the poor performance. What is concerning is that Sheridan hasnt attempted to make any adjustments to this poor secondary. For example, using some of the new LB talent to see what they can do. Or, better yet, Benching CC brown and letting Thomas play safety. We have a few other DBs that could play for Thomas, and God knows a blind midget could cover better than brown. So Ill make my decission on Sheridan after I see what happens when we get healthy.. but he isnt off to a great start in the decission making catagory.

Gilbride I think has had plenty of time to get creative wtih that cryptic playbook of his and I dont think he is going to make the adjustment. He is that old timer behind the wheel that is going to go 35 regardless of the speed limit. I think we need a fesh playcaller in who can educate the offense on spreading the ball around the talent we have.

It’s obvious there are some issues on both sides of the ball but you can’t start calling for coaches heads mid-season on a team that has a winning record. Give Sheridan a chance to turn this thing around. We have some guys coming back and a win against San Diego and then the bye week will do wonders for this team.
