Falcons: Michael Turner has a high ankle sprain

Not that I particularly enjoy cashing in on injury advantages, but this news just might be what the Giants need to propel themselves into an up-swing that starts next Sunday when they play host for Atlanta.

Michael Turner, the Falcons star running back, has a high ankle sprain and is expected to miss at least one game starting next week at the NY Giants.

If this turns out to be good news for the Giants, I seriously won’t mind the asterisk to be applied by the pundits of Turner being out for this game. Onward and upward I say, and may Turner get the best treatment available so that he can get back out on the field as soon as possible. Hopefully it won’t be too, too soon… though.

I don’t want anybody to be hurt and lose time playing, but I must say that I had a warm fuzzy when I saw Turner the Burner limp off the field!
