Sunday’s national game on Fox, mainly Giants-Cowboys, earned its highest preliminary rating on the network in three years.
The broadcast drew an 18.9 overnight rating and 35 share. That’s the highest since a 19.1/35 for a matchup between the two teams in 2006.
Ratings represent the percentage of all households with televisions tuned into a program, and shares represent the percentage of all homes with TVs in use at the time. Overnight ratings measure the nation’s largest markets.
