Posted in Giants center Shaun O’Hara will “emphatically” appeal the $15,000 fine for his role in an altercation with Trent Cole at the end of the Giants loss against the Eagles.
“I will emphatically appeal,” O’Hara said in the Giants’ locker room Thursday. “I thought there was a possibility that something might come, but obviously I was a little surprised at the amount. I think the one thing I’ll do is I’ll go through the process and appeal it, and that’s something I hope will be justified when it comes to that.”
I don’t know if O’Hara has a good chance of winning this appeal, but it can’t hurt. $15,000 is a nice chunk of change; I’m sure O’Hara wouldn’t mind paying something less.
