5 Keys To Beating The Redskins

Another must-win game for the Giants, this time against the Redskins on Monday night. What do they need to win? Here are 5 Keys to Beating the Redskins

1. Pressure Campbell

With Webster out, this is even more important. A strong pass rush takes a lot of pressure off the secondary. Because of the failing of the secondary, the Giants can’t afford to have a subpar pass rush. Osi will be key.

2. Run the Ball!

Brandon Jacobs finally looked like his old self last week. He has to keep it up. Set a tone. Keep those legs moving.  Once the running game gets going, then the Giants can pass all day long.

3. No Mistakes!

This game is so important. There can be no mistakes. No fumbles. No Manningham sideline plays. They have to execute, and can’t have these silly, debilitating mistakes. This is game is too important.

4. Big Game Manning

Eli has shown, at least statistically, that he’s a force to be reckoned with. And we know that Eli shows up when it matters most. He has to be that kind of quarterback Monday. He has to make big plays. He has to be “Big Game Manning”.

5. Show Up!

The Giants have to treat this game as their Super Bowl. This is it. A loss, and you’re most likely done. With the Cowboys win, there is no margin for error. The Giants have to show passion, fire, determination. If they don’t, a hungry Redskin team will take advantage of it.
