Giants Vikings Halftime Thoughts

With nothing to play for, the Giants are playing like they are playing for nothing, as the Vikings are up 31-0. The Giants defense has continued their awful tackling, and the Giants offense isn’t really moving much. A poor performance.

The Giants offense isn’t really doing much. Steve Smith got his 100th reception, and we here at GiantsGab congratulate him. Other than that, they haven’t moved much. The Vikes know what’s coming, and the Giants can’t adjust. Viking D is having a field day.

As for the defense, it is a display of awful-ness. Bill Sheridan should have his bags packed, because he’s going to be on the unemployment line tomorrow. Absolutely no tackling. It took five guys to bring down Adrian Peterson on one play. Five guys. Kevin Dockery looks lost out there. No real pass rush. Coverage is awful. Receivers are wide open. The Vikings are making it look easy.

To be blunt, I don’t see anyway the Giants can win this game. The defense can’t stop anyone, and the offense isn’t moving at all. They’re just going to have play the other 30 minutes, just because they have to. Ugly half.

Our defense sucks and our defensive coordinator is horrible. Please do the team a favor and fire the defensive coordinator for the second half. It is our only hope. Dude is lost and space. I think Sheridan should start practicing for the only job that suits him……”would you like to supersize that combo meal”

3-4 is the d-fense of the FUTURE. All the top defenses run a 3-4 like the ravens, jets, dolphins, packers, cowboys etc. People say we don’t have the personnel to run but greenbay did it and they have one of the top defenses now. All they did was draft a NT(bj raji) and an OLB(clay Matthews) and convert Aaron kampman from a 4-3 end to a 3-4 OLB. I believe all we need to do is convert osi and kiwi to OLB’s, and either draft or trade for a NT.

Kiwi WAS a LB in the first place.

But you’re fighting history here by saying we need to go to a 3-4, it wont happen.

How about we start playing Man-Man from a 4-3 instead of Zone for starters.
