Can you believe it? This is our last installment of Ranking The Giants! (feel free to cry). To read the other Ranking The Giants editions, click here. We move onto the Special Teams, who had a pretty up and down year. Jeff Feagles finally started to show his age. Lawrence “Some of The” Tynes was streaky as ever. Save for a few games, Domenik Hixon didn’t do much as a kick returner. But, we trudge on. Let’s Rank The Giants, Special Teams style.

JEFF FEAGLES:

Y’all know of my professed love for Mr. Feagles. But let’s face it: He was awful this year. He was. He has no leg strength left, and his best trait–directional kicking–just wasn’t as effective. Sad to say, but it may be time to hang it up.

GRADE: 70

LAWRENCE TYNES:

“Some of the” Tynes was streaky, as always. 27-32 on field goal attempts. He’ll make a big one, and miss a chip shot. Still, he’ll be here for awhile, after signing a long term deal.

GRADE: 71

DOMENIK HIXON:

Had some good games, and games where he did nothing. He’s a threat, and can be hard to cover. But, he to be more consistent.
