Tynes was rated as the 59th kicker out of 61 in 2009.  So that means if there are 32 teams, and 32 kickers, Tynes was not worthy of being a backup.

In 2008 Feagles was rated as the 9th best punter in the league (out of 47)

In 2009 he was the 42 best kicker (out of 44), clearly he had a very very bad year, as did most Giants.  Do I think he can return to his 2008 form? Yes, but do the Giants think that? IDK

Feagle is getting up there in age, so who knows what the Giants are going to do in the Special Teams department.

Note: if there is no CBA agreement, which doesnt look like it, 2010 will be an uncapped year, which means that teams can dump players with &quot;big&quot; contracts, and not take the cap hit (because there is no cap).</description>
