The thing that impressed me most was when Fewell mentioned how fiery he is. He likes to chest bump players, slap them on the behind, but he’s not afraid to get in someone’s head. That, more than anything, is what the Giants need. He’s a leader. He’s fiery. He gets pumped up. Bill Sheridan had the same expression all year long.
Fewell didn’t talk a lot of X’s and O’s, and we’ll know more about his defensive system once training camp and preseason rolls around. But, so far, so good.
