From Ralph Vacchiano:
The Giants brought in several kickers during the season for tryouts to keep the pressure on incumbent Lawrence Tynes. Now they’re doing it in the offseason, too.
Former Cowboys kicker Nick Folk will work out for the Giants later this week, according to a report on ProFootballTalk.com. While in the area, the report said, he’ll also work out for the Jets.
The Giants currently have two kickers under contract – - Tynes, who still has three years and $3.6 million left on his deal, and Sam Swank, who signed a one-year, $320,000 deal on Jan. 6. It’s not clear how serious they are about the 25-year-old Folk, who spent most of the last three seasons in Dallas before he was cut in late December after a terrible string in which he missed seven of 11 field goal attempts.
Before that terrible slump, though, Fook was pretty good. He made 86.8 percent of his field goals (46 for 53) in his first two years with the Cowboys, before making just 18 of 28 (64.3 percent) in 14 games last season.
The 31-year-old Tynes made 27 of his 32 field goal attempts (84.4 percent) last year.

Terrible kicker. I dont see why we would sign him.
I thought he was a pretty good kicker, was suprised Dallas cut him.
Had a couple of bad snaps, then they switched holders, and he just didnt have the confidence. Confidence is really important for kickers, so we will see what happens.
