A WildCat Rolle?

Newly signed safety Antrel Rolle played quarterback and running back in high school. Does that mean he could be a fit as a WildCat quarterback?

“Once I’m here, I think they will get a pretty good feel of what kind of athlete I am,” Rolle said. “Whether they’re going to use me with that, I don’t know yet. I hope so. I think it brings another dimension to football. It’s something that also can excite the fans.”

“He’s a very talented guy who was a high school quarterback and running back,” coach Tom Coughlin said. “And you can see the intangibles that he brings to the table in terms of his communication skills and his energy. He’s one of those upbeat guys that you really do enjoy being around. And he’s very talented.”

Rolle took snaps as a WildCat QB with the Cardinals–even doing it against the Giants. I always thought the Giants should use that formation once in a while to confuse the defense. They just never had the personnel. Rolle could be that guy. Thoughts?

Mayb just to coonfusde wish we did tho but we see mayb 1 or 2 reverses a year and u think we’ll do a wild cat

will never happen, maybe once or twice but thats it. Tom Couphlin and Kevin Gilbride are way to conservative with there play calling to go wild cat on a consistent basis. I mean you never know but Id be seriously surprised if i see them go wild cat with Rolle more then three times.
