“Flozell Adams Rule” Proposed for 2010

Without name calling and stooping to his level, we’re going to gently preface this story and quickly be reminded of what happened with Flozell Adams last year… first there was – The Trip:

Then there was even more infamously – The Shove:

That should bring everyone up to speed.  Onto todays news…. Among the proposed rule changes for 2010 is the….. SURPRISE!!!!

Flozell Adams rule:

Via PFT

Florio mentioned Wednesday that a rule proposal to allow a dead-ball personal foul against an offense can be carried over into the second half or overtime.

That expected change was inspired by Adams’ personal foul after the final play of the first half against the Giants last year. The idea is to cut down on premeditated cheap shots.

How about instead of just 15 yards tacked onto the runback of the second half, the entire defense gets to do one of these during half time:

The only problem with your suggestion is that I don’t think anyone on the Cowboys has any cojones, let alone Flozell (isn’t that a woman’s name, like Marion?)…
