Osi Umeniyora HAS been at practice!

I don’t know if we have reported this yet. But it turns out Osi Umeinyora has backed off…well at least showed up to voluntary off-season work out programs, which did not seem likely even a month or two ago.
According to profootballtalk.com
Osi Umenyiora was breathing fire last time we heard from him, saying he would rather retire than come off the bench next season in New York.

Things have settled since the defensive end had a long chat with G.M. Jerry Reese in February.  Coach Tom Coughlin also said he couldn’t guarantee Osi anything at the Scouting Combine.

Umenyiora hasn’t backed down publicly, but actions speak louder than words.

Coughlin revealed to reporters Wednesday that Umenyiora has been attending the offseason program with a “smile on his face, working his tail off.”

Score one for Coughlin.

Also, don’t forget to vote for the mock draft pick for the Chiefs which is up and running.
