2010 New York Giants Big Board

Here is My new York Giants 2010 N.F.L. Big Board. As far as the way that I think it should go.

Here’s how it works. First I list prospects that I don’t think the Giants will Be interested in and probably should not  be.

Then It GOES RIGHT IN ORDER from my most desirable to the least.

Now if I have a guy listed as a “3rd round target” it does not mean that a player is a third round player. The player could be a second round player, but NOT a second round player for the Giants.

For instance. I don’t want the Giants to take Jeremaine Gresham or Jared Odrick in the first round, but THEY ARE First round players for some team. Probably late first round.

So after the draft comes by I’m going to evaluate the draft based on how I put this.

I could not put every prospect in here. the ones that I did NOT profile are in red.

If you want to know anything about any of these prospects, I mean if they really pique your interest let me know.

If there is someone, especially in the first two rounds you think I left out that should be considered dropping that name.

Click on the names that are not in red and it will take you to their prospect profile page.

Players that won’t Be on their board for the 15th overall pick (even if they are available)

Jimmy Clausen

Dez Bryant (although I’ve said that IF they think Dez Bryant is going to be Andre Johnson they should draft him and move Mario Manningham and Barden. What would the trade value for two young talented WR’s be? I’d imagine at least a 2nd round pick. Though that’s not what will happen or probably not even should happen with Bryant’s goofiness…who doesn’t bring shoes to a pro day?)

Golden Tate (I’m higher on him than most,  I really like his game but not way he makes it to the second round and no way Giants draft him)

Players that will NOT be available that the Giants should draft if they fell down to them  (no chance of falling down to 15th overall)

Dont know if I saw his name or not, but I would put CB/S Akwasi Owusu-Ansah name in either the 3rd or 4th round (4th would be good value) since the Giants did have a private workout/meeting with him, never know since they did have workout with Beckum and Barden last year and wound up drafted them

Jesse, you have done an outstanding job of analyzing the Big Board & where the Giants could move in the draft. Love the approach, detail and analysis. Cannot wait to see where we go over the 3 days. Hopefully DL, ILB, OL, CB. Keep up the great work.

  3. Jeremy says:

If Pouncey drops to the second that would be sick/nasty.
