Schedule Breakdown: Pre-draft W’s and L’s

This is going to be nothing more than a list of assumptions in the end, pure speculation — and in reality nobody has a complete 53 man roster with all the talent in plain view… BUT… it’s the day before the draft and whats the matter with piling on some more hype when you get right down to it?

Here, in my opinion, is where the Giants can expect to end up at regular season’s end. Keep in mind this is just a gut reaction and I was way off last year, but I didn’t expect our reinforced defense to drop like flies either:

Sept. 12 CAROLINA 1:00 PM (FOX) – Win.

Sept. 19 at Indianapolis 8:20 PM (NBC) – Lose.

Sept. 26 TENNESSEE 1:00 PM (CBS) – Win.

Oct. 3 CHICAGO 8:20 PM (NBC) – Win.

Oct. 10 at Houston 1:00 PM (FOX) – Win.

Oct. 17 DETROIT 1:00 PM (FOX) – Win.

Oct. 25 (Mon.) at Dallas 8:30 PM (ESPN) – Lose.

Oct. 31 BYE

Nov. 7 at Seattle 4:05 PM (FOX) – Win.

Nov. 14 DALLAS 4:15PM (FOX) – Win.

Nov. 21 at Philadelphia 8:20PM* (NBC) – Lose.

Nov. 28 JACKSONVILLE 1:00PM* (CBS) – Win.

Dec. 5 WASHINGTON 1:00PM* (FOX) – Win.

Dec. 12 at Minnesota 1:00 PM* (FOX) – Lose.

Dec. 19 PHILADELPHIA 1:00 PM* (FOX) – Win.

Dec. 26 at Green Bay 4:15 PM* (FOX) – Win.

Jan. 2 at Washington 1:00PM* (FOX) – Lose.

At Green Bay and at Houston are by no means sure wins…

  2. Shai says:

8-0 at home, 3-5 on the road?

    • well heres my thinking on this — we split it with the division and the easiest way for me to do that was say…. lose on the road, win at home in the division.

thats the simplest way at this stage in the game to analyze it.

I don’t believe Eli will lose two in a row to his big brother. Eli will play great; it’s the D that will have to step up for us to win and I predict they will.

27-17 Giants, Osi will have two sacks

I dont know, You think there ganna lose every game against a divisional apponent on the road. That sounds like Your just pickin the giants to win at home and then do enough on the road to make the playoffs. Also I dont think, Unless Kolb turns out to have a teriffic season, that the GMEN will lose to the Eagles even on the road.

    • just for simplicity — i think we split the division for the most part. the easiest way for right now to tally it up is just say the home team wins.

the details of each of these games, momentum, injuries, etc…. its all in front of us.

right now — from the looks of things and what i think the giants are capable of, i think the giants go 11-5 and make the playoffs

  5. pc says:

I disagree too man have some faith. This team is not that bad. We can easily win 13 to 14 games, Be a Fan!

  6. jeremy says:

I think we beat the colts and go 12-4.

  7. jeremy says:

Oh PS: i also think its simpler to assume we split within the division
