No Blackouts For Giants Fans:

From PFT

Lost in the news that the Jets have somewhere between 10,000 and 17,000 PSLs left to sell, which could trigger blackouts, is that the other team that will play in the new Meadowlands Stadium will have no such issues.

As pointed out by Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News on Twitter, the Giants have fewer than 1,500 PSLs remaining.  Per Vacchiano, all remaining PSLs apply to club seats only, which don’t count toward the blackout calculations.

So every Giants game will be televised locally, and the Jets eventually may have to make the uncomfortable (from a P.R. standpoint) decision to drop the PSL requirement and sell tickets for seats that could be situated right next to seats that were secured via the purchase of a PSL.

Great news for all the Giants fans in the New York area.

Just further proof that New York is still blue. Last year green made a nice playoff run, but just the other year, we went two games further and brought home the Lombardi. Good luck to both teams and I hope they both fill their seats, but pay attention Jets fans, keep humble.
