Giants’ sign Jason Pierre-Paul

The New York Giants’ have signed DE Jason Pierre Paul to a 5-year deal worth $20,050,000 with $11,629,807 guaranteed.

This now means all draft picks have been signed, and the Giants’ 80 man Training-Camp Roster seems to set. The Giants’ now have 80 guys on the roster, so I’d be shocked if there’s any more signings or changes tonight and tomorrow before camp beings.

I did a piece a while back on what Jason Pierre-Pauls potential contract would be like, which you can see here, it seems I wasn’t far off. I said he’d get about $20 million bucks, with about $14 million in guarantees. Seems I undervalued the market and how the picks before and after him. Still, not too bad. Since the kid is raw, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some big escalators on the tail-end of his contract based on his performance.
