Hakeem Nicks has suffered a hyperextended right knee, and will undergo a MRI tomorrow, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the Daily News. I guess the Giants can never stay healthy, huh?
UPDATE (Wednesday, 2:11 PM EST): Everyone take a deep breath. Hakeem Nicks is fine, according to the Giants. Two MRIs, both checked out fine. Breathe everybody. Breathe.
The Giants should stop participating in ANY PRACTICE, effective immediately!!! This is goddamn ridiculous, who’s next????
Expletive, different expletive, another expletive. I’m not a doctor but I did stay at a holiday inn last night. Hyperextended knees are serious, this could be a 3 week injury.
Hakeem Nicks update: #NYG confirm he’s been sent to Hosptial for Special Surgery in NY for a second MRI and exam by team doctors.
I agree these injuries are getting out of control.

READ: Hakeem Nicks Update
BY JOHN FENNELLY ON AUG 04, 2010, 5:26 PM
as per our colleague Mike Garafolo, The Star Ledger and SNY…
Nicks is on his way back to UAlbany to rejoin his teammates. Already
battling a toe issue, Nicks will have to monitor his knee as well, but
the team says he could be back to practice as soon as Thursday.
Even if he doesn’t partake in either session, at least he and the
Giants can exhale in learning for sure he won’t be out for the rest of
the season.
