Beatty Fractured Foot, Needs Surgery

Will Beatty fractured a bone in his right foot and will need surgery, according to Mike Garafolo of the Star Ledger. No word on how long he’s out, but you can assume it will be for awhile.

This is a big blow for the Giants. With Boss out with a concussion (he’s undergoing tests as we speak), and probably out for sometime, the only tight end on the roster that is healthy is Travis Beckum. Beatty has been serving as the blocking tight end. You can assume Bear Pascoe will get called up from the practice squad.
