Posted in With Lawrence Tynes’ seemingly out for tomorrow’s game against the Lions, the Giants’ have signed veteran Kicker Shayne Graham, according to ESPN New York. In signing Shayne Graham, the Giants’ needed to make a roster move. WR Victor Cruz was put on IR with a “hamstring” injury. Cruz had said he’d be back in a week or two, so he may end up going on minor IR which means the Giants’ would be forced to release him. If he clears waivers he could land on the practice squad, or be re-signed. However, if his injury is year long, he would stick on IR. Time will tell.

Victor Cruz was in-fact put on the standard, season-long IR. That means he will be out the rest of the season and will be property of the Giants’ for the remainder of the season.
