Hedgecock Suffers Setback

FB Madison Hedgecock suffered a setback in yesterdays practice, according to Giants Head Coach Tom Coughlin. Hedgecock was catching a pass out of the flat when he hurt his hamstring, again. They don’t believe the hamstring injury is as bad as his first one, though. I wouldn’t count on seeing him on the field this Sunday. They were hoping he could make it back for the game this week, but all indications are that TE/FB Pear Pascoe’s will start at FB.

DE Dave Tollefson missed practice today due to illness. He should play Sunday. Tollefson has been given a larger role in the defense now that DE Mathias Kiwanuka has been placed on IR.

T Kareem McKenzie returned to the practice field today after he missed yesterday’s practice with an apparent illness, too. He will start Sunday.
