Thinking About the Cowboys (Again)

The Giants are up against the Cowboys yet again, but they’re facing a Dallas team with a new coach–Jason Garrett. How will that affect the Boys? Let’s think about it:

-Jason Garrett

The new coach. After a 1-7 start, the Cowboys canned Wade Phillips and promoted Garrett to coach. How are the Boys going to respond? Honestly, I don’t know. They can either come out firing, ready to play for their new coach, or they come out with the same lackluster performances they’ve been doing all year. We’ll know early on. Obviously, without Romo, it’s still difficult for the Boys to be competitive. But, how will the defense react? How will the running game play? It all remains to be seen.

-DeMarcus Ware

I always put him up here, just because he’s always so dangerous. Shawn Andrews will have the responsibility of covering him. This is his first test since assuming the starting left tackle job. It’s a big test. Bear Pascoe will help him out, but it will be interesting to see how Andrews responds.

-Dez Bryant

Bryant killed the Giants last time. It didn’t matter. But he was making plays all over the field. He’s one of the best young receivers out there. Corey Webster will have his hands full. The Giants can’t let him go off again. He’s too dangerous to let him do that.
