Steve Smith likely out until December

Espn’s Adam Schefter just reported on Twitter that Giants WR Steve Smith expected to be out until early December because of a pectoral injury. This is very bad news. With Ramses Barden out for the year, our WR depth is starting to become nothing. Hopefully Jerry Resse pulls something out of his hat and fast.

Barden Likely Out For Year

Ramses Barden is likely out for the year with significant ligament damage and a fracture to his left ankle, according to Mike Garafolo. Barden, who was filling in for Steve Smith, will now have to be replaced, likely by Duke Calhoun or someone from the outside. The injuries, especially at receiver, keep piling on.
