Giants Want To Bring Back Plax?

Interesting article out of the NY Post today. The Giants may be interested in giving Plaxico Burress a second chance. According to the article, there is a “growing support” within the Giants organization to bring the receiver back. Plax is set to be released from jail on June 6th.

What do you guys think about this? Bring him back? Ignore him? Let us know

I think this would be a great start to next season! Why not give him a second chance as philly did Mike Vick? I believe he will come back with a vengeance and ready to prove a point on being a better person. Not only that he has a new daughter in his life and hasn’t been able to appreciate her as well as express it in his game. The only downfall I see on this opportunity is that the Giants organization is top notch and it always seems like they tend to stay away from players who cause trouble. Could you imagine seeing Plax, Nicks, Manningham, and Smith on the field together? I know the NFC East wouldn’t be to happy about this.

Bring him back! In sure he will be all business and more mature when he gets out. He doesn’t even have to start. Maybe show nicks and manningham some things.

Plax made Eli such a better player…DO IT

bring him back! he will have to earn everything this time though but I think he can help us in a big way

    1) You can get him cheap with a short contract

    2) He loves being in NY

    3) You don’t owe him anything (because of what he did) so no pressure to play him if he’s not up to speed or disrupting chemistry, etc

    4) He’s probably going to show up a changed man with a chip on his shoulder, we could get a couple of productive years

I don’t see much to lose?

its as simple as this…look at all the recievers we had at the beginning of the year…and realize that manningham was the only good reciever healthy at the end of the season…bring him back and add the depth

I think this was the plan all along, I don’t like that he asked for a trade right before he was sentenced, then again that could’ve been some stupid suggestion on his agent’s part to get separation from new york. If you do bring him in though, there probably is no chance of getting Haynesworth as Reese wouldn’t take that kind of chance again.

    bring him back

  9. Ryan says:

    Just get him!

  10. Dave says:

Bring him back. It’s true… Eli was better with him.
