Thoughts And Musings

Congrats to the Green Bay Packers for winning Super Bowl 45. It was a great game, and a well deserved win for a good team.

-Love the way Aaron Rodgers played. Loved the team effort. With the injuries to Woodson, Driver, Shields, they still found a way. That’s a hell of a victory against a Steelers team that played well, despite the turnovers.

-With all the guys coming back next year, Ryan Grant, JerMichael Finley, this team could be even more dangerous. As Aaron Rodgers progresses, so does this team, and I don’t think Rodgers has reached his potential yet. They are the team to beat next year.

-Amazing to think that if the Giants beat the Packers in week 16, that could have been them. Big what if though.

-Onto Giants. We’ll be unveiling tons of prospect profiles within the next few weeks. One a day. A diverse group of players, too. I think you’ll like them.

-A mock draft will be coming sometime this week. Keep an eye out for that.

-Remember, we are looking for a writer, maybe two, preferably one who loves draft (in addition to all other facets of football). If you’re interested, send me an email with a sample article (doesn’t have to be too long, but something draft related would be nice) to jafuchs78 [at] gmail [dot] com. We look forward to hearing from you!

-Best commercial? The Chrysler Eminem one. I mean, that was brilliant. Had my entire Super Bowl party standing up and clapping.

-Of course, because I was at a large party, couldn’t really hear the commercials. Will have to YouTube them today to really see which ones were my favorites.

-Is this the last football we’ll see for awhile? I sure hope not, but everything I read about the CBA discussions leads me to believe that it is a distinct possibility. There’s part of me that thinks that the owners and players to come to their senses and realize that a lockout will lose a lot of fans and a lot of money. The NFL brings in so much money, and with no season, no money. I hope cooler heads will prevail. But who knows.

-Hopefully, we’ll have football. And we can see the Giants have a good season. With some tweaks, they could be really, really good
