Kickoffs Will Now Start From 35 Yard Line

Know how the Giants desperately need a kick returner? Well, thanks to a new rule, they don’t. NFL owners passed a rule today that moves kickoffs from the 30 yard line to the 35 yard line.  Doesn’t seem like much, but with touchbacks still at the 20, kickers can easily just kick it in the end zone, or, with a good kick, trap the returner deep. The Giants still need a punt returner, though.

His name is Domenik Hixon, we’ll be OK. However, I think this helps the Giants much more on the other end of the ball as our coverage units have been atrocious.
