Giants Receive Two Compensatory Picks

The Giants have been awarded two compensatory picks in the 2011 draft. The picks, number 198 and 202, come in the 6th round. This brings the total draft choices to eight.

    Isn’t total 8?

    We had 1,2,3,4,6,7 (6 total) + 2 comp = 8

    Anyways, we could trade our own 6th+7th for a 5th round pick.

    That way we will have 1,2,3,4,5,6*comp1,6*comp2 (7 total)

    Lost: David Carr, Fred Robbins

    Comp picks has to do with playing time, I know Carr played in a few games, might have started 1 game, and think Robbins played every game for Rams.
