Giants Send Four To Villanova’s Ijalana’s Pro Day; McElroy Coming For Visit

The Giants sent four executives to Villanova offensive lineman Ben Ijalana’s Pro Day, according to the Star Ledger. Ijalana, who played tackle at Nova, is probably more a guard in the pros. He’s a late first, early second round prospect. The Giants would either trade down in the first, or trade up in the second to get him.

Also in that article, it is noted that the Giants sent representatives to Virginia CB Ras-I Dowling’s Pro Day.  Dowling, who we profiled here, is a big, fast corner who has been hampered by injuries. Could end up being a steal.

In addition, the National Football Post is reporting that Alabama QB Greg McElroy is visiting the Giants. A winner at every level, McElroy is smart and accurate, but doesn’t have the strongest arm. He’s more of a backup.

Profiles for McElroy and Ijalana are coming soon

Value for G is in later rounds, get one there.
Dowling is an Aaron Ross waiting to happen, no thanks.
